Revelation 6:7-8
In Revelation 6:7-8 (NKJV), as the fourth seal is opened, the Apostle John states, “I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” 8So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beast of the earth.”
This is the reality of the prophecies of the Bible coming true.
This is the opening of the fourth seal from the scroll that the Lamb took from the right hand of Him who sits on the throne of heaven.
It would be hard for anyone to read this Bible passage and find reason to believe that these things are not taking place in the world today. Man is killing one another with the sword and has been for many years; people die all around the world by starvation; death strikes us all sooner or later; and we hear stories of people being killed by animals way too often. As we continue this study of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, we are confronted by the fact that these things are real and are taking place around us every day. I believe it is a sign that we all need to take heed, open our minds and hearts to the reality of the prophecies of the Bible coming true, and “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” as is the words of Jesus when He first began His earthly ministry (John 4:17).
Dear LORD,
The Bible is the most proven historical book ever written. Please help us to open our minds and hearts to its reality, and begin to understand its importance. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
