Revelation 21:3-4

In Revelation 21:3 (NKJV), after seeing the New Jerusalem coming down from heaven, the Apostle John hears a voice coming from heaven declaring, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

This is a promise that one day God will dwell with us and, “wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away” (Revelation 21:4).

I believe we all have and will experience pain and suffering in this world. But we have hope through God’s Word that one day it will all vanish as He will live with us in a New Jerusalem that will be pain-free, tear-free, death-free, and sorrow-free.

These things will be in the lives of all who find their names written in the Book of Life. Put your faith in Jesus today and know that your name will be there too.

Dear LORD,

In this world we have pain and suffering, but one day You will wipe it all away as You will live with us and the joy of Your presence will be our focus. Please let it be so LORD. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
