Revelation 15:2-4

In Revelation 15:2-3 the Apostle John saw a heavenly choir singing as they stood on what appeared to be “something like a sea of glass mingled with fire” (Revelation 15:2, NKJV). This choir had “harps of God” (Revelation 15:2) which, by noting that they are harps of God indicates the precise notes and magnificent sound that would come from them. We learn in Revelation 15:3-4, “3They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:

‘Great and marvelous are Your works,

Lord God Almighty!

Just and true are Your ways,

O King of the saints!

4            Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and

glorify Your name?

For You alone are holy.

For all nations shall come and worship

before You,

For Your judgments have been

manifested.’”

The song of Moses was sung after the crossing of the Red Sea (Exodus 15:1-18) and also in Deuteronomy 32:1-43.

This is the heavenly choir of those who have overcome the beast singing praise to God.

The beast challenges us each day in the temptations of this world; the trials and tribulations that we face. But God has given us a Savior to free us from the bondage of the sins of this world – He has given us Jesus and His Holy Spirit to be our guide until the day He takes us home to live with Him in heaven for eternity. Jesus declares in John 14:26-27, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Put your trust in Jesus today and He will be your guide through the trials, troubles, and tribulations of this world. He will save you from sin and fill your heart with joy.

Dear LORD,

There is a heavenly choir singing praises to You in heaven always. Please help us to see that we too can have Your joy in our hearts through Your saving grace offered to us in Your One and only Son Jesus to save us from sin and give us life eternal. We too sing praises to You all the day long – in Christ! In Jesus name I pray, amen.
