Revelation 14:6-7

As the Lamb stands atop Mount Zion with His 144,000 strong choir singing a song that no one else can learn (Revelation 14:1-5), an angel appears in Revelation 14:6 flying in the midst of heaven, “having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth – to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people – 7saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water” (Revelation 14:6-7, NKJV). This everlasting gospel is a call to recognize the almighty power of God as the Creator of all things, and to give fear/respect and honor to Him as He alone is deserving.

This is a promise of an everlasting gospel call to repentance, realization, and understanding that God alone is worthy of our praise.

Jesus declares in John 17:1-3, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” Jesus declared this statement in His prayer to God just before He would be arrested, tried, found guilty for sins that He did not commit, and pay for them with His life on the cross; only to be raised from the grave three days later claiming victory over sin, death, and the devil in everlasting life that He now offers to all who will believe in Him. Put your faith in Jesus today and be saved from the wrath of God that will be revealed one day.

Dear LORD,

It will be a beautiful setting to see Jesus, the Lamb of God standing atop Mount Zion with His heavenly choir singing a song that only they can learn, in the presence of an angel flying in their midst declaring Your Almighty power that everyone everywhere should give glory to You, our Almighty Creator and God. Please lead us all to salvation in Christ Jesus so that we may celebrate this day with You. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
