Revelation 14:2-5
In Revelation 14:2-5 we learn about a choir of purity that stands with Jesus/Lamb on Mount Zion. This choir sang a song that no one else could learn (Revelation 14:3) as they were redeemed in purity from the earth as firstfruits to God and the Lamb (Revelation 14:4). We learn in Revelation 14:5 (NKJV), “5And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God.”
This is the promise of a purified heavenly choir that will follow Jesus wherever He goes.
We all would love to be in that heavenly choir of purity, following Jesus wherever He goes (Revelation 14:4). In this earthly world we can still follow Jesus wherever He goes as He leads us through His Holy Spirit. Jesus teaches us in John 14:15-18, “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever – the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”
Dear LORD,
The great choir of the one hundred and forty-four thousand will be a great, magnificent sound to hear. The purity of their voices will be like the sound of purity itself as Your great and mighty voice rolls like rushing water and thunder. Please let us hear the calling of Your Holy Spirit on our lives so that we can hear You speak to us, and so that we can hear the sound of the choir of purity singing in heaven. Please let it be so LORD. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
