Hebrews 11:23

When Moses was born, Pharaoh had ordered the death of all Hebrew boys being born (Exodus 1:15-22).  Moses’ parents saw him to be a beautiful child so they hid him as best they could for three months.  Then they put him in an ark (NKJV), described in this case as a basket, and placed the basket in the edge of the river among the reeds until the daughter of Pharaoh found him and took him to be her own (Exodus 2:1-10).  It was through the faith of Moses’ parents in God to protect their baby that God was able to prevail and produce this great leader for His chosen people.

This is an example of trusting in God to prevail in times of crisis.

We all have experienced crisis at some point in our lives; maybe not a crisis that was decided by life or death, but we have all been through times in which the possible outcome was not favorable.  Trials and tribulations do not always turn out the way we would desire, but by trusting in God that His will be done will help us to come through the trial/crisis drawing closer to Him.  We live in a sinful world and the trials and tribulations of this world are the result of sin, but Satan cannot overcome one who puts and keeps their faith in God through salvation in His only begotten Son, Jesus.

Dear LORD,

As we put and keep our faith in You through believing that Jesus died for our sins so that we may be set free from them, we still yet live in a sinful world where the devil is always seeking to trip us with the trials and tribulations that he throws at us.  Jesus never promised to prevent us from having to go through trials and tribulations while we live in this world, but He did promise to be with us always and help us through them if we will call on His name with a sincere heart.  Please help us to stand strong in Christ Jesus during the crises that we will face in this world that we may live free from them for eternity in heaven.  In Jesus name I pray, amen.
