Colossians 3:16-17
If we want the word of Christ to dwell in us richly, we must read it daily. But if we want the word of Christ to dwell in us richly in all wisdom, we must study it daily. This is important if we are to teach and admonish one another in the word of Christ. All that we say and do should be for Christ, giving thanks to God our Father in heaven all day long.
This is a command to live for Christ and to give thanks to God our heavenly Father.
Let’s strive to study the word of Christ each day in hope that not only will our own relationship grow with Christ, but also that we will be better prepared to grow with our Christian brothers and sisters.
Dear Lord,
I pray today for a zealous desire to study Your word each day, not only for me, but for all my Christian brothers and sisters around the world. We need to study Your word so that we will be better equipped to support one another in our walk with You Lord. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
