Titus 3:15

In Titus 3:15 are the closing remarks of the Apostle Paul for his letter to a faithful minister in the faith. It may seem somewhat ironic that his closing remarks are to greet one another in the faith, but to greet one another is a solid statement for the instructions found in the letter as Paul has been instructing Titus to teach the congregation of the church in Crete (Titus 1:5) to reflect a proper conduct for a Christian. He declared in Titus 2:14 that they should be a “special people, zealous for good works.” Paul’s final comment is that the grace of God be with them all. This is not meant for just those who feel as if God has given them a special gift in ministry but for everyone to experience God’s grace in their lives.

This is a promise of friendship and grace in Christ Jesus for all who believe in Him.

Jesus declared in John 14:27 (NKJV), “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” In Christ Jesus is the peace and hope to get through whatever trials and tribulations we are facing. Jesus gives us strength to overcome the things of this world if we will put and keep our focus on Him. We should always greet one another with the peace, love, and grace that Jesus has shown us. In doing so, we can all make this world a better place to be – In Christ.

Dear LORD,

Jesus has said that in this world we will experience trials, tribulations, and persecutions. Please help us all to realize and understand that Jesus has given us His peace and grace so that we may be able to overcome this world through putting our faith in Him. The Apostle Paul has given us instructions through Your Holy guidance in 1 Corinthians 10:13 declaring, “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” Please let Your peace and grace rule in our hearts. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
