Revelation 14:1

We have been learning about the beasts from the sea and the earth that will rise up in power given by the dragon/devil. As we begin Revelation 14 we are refreshed with the picture of the Lamb of God standing on Mount Zion with 144,000 servants from the twelve tribes of the children of Israel that were sealed on their foreheads (Revelation 7:3-8). Mount Zion is the new holy city of God (Isaiah 2:1-4).

This is a promise of the new city of God as the Lamb proclaims with the 144,000.

John the Baptist proclaimed in John 1:29 (NKJV), “Behold, The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” There is much to be learned about the Lamb of God in the Bible, but what is important for this lesson is that we know that the Lamb of God is Jesus – “The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” as proclaimed by John the Baptist. Jesus is our Savior; He is my Savior and He is your Savior. To believe that in our hearts is the key to professing it with our mouths and being truly saved by the blood of the Lamb. The Apostle Paul teaches us in Romans 10:9-13, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame” [Isaiah 28:16]. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved” [Joel 2:32]. Put your faith in Jesus today and profess Him your Savior!

Dear LORD,

As we have been learning about the two beasts that will rise up in the last days and all the trouble they will cause, we shall look up and see the Lamb of God standing atop Mount Zion with the 144,000 servants that have been sealed on their foreheads claiming victory for all those in Christ Jesus over the devil and his beasts. Please let it be so LORD. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
