Revelation 7:11-12

In Revelation 7:11-12 all of heaven is rejoicing with the multitude of “all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues” in the celebration for the saved. In the parable of the lost sheep, Jesus states, “And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance” (Luke 15:6-7, NKJV). Jesus told this parable to express the amount of joy and celebration in heaven when one person repents to confession of Jesus being their Lord and Savior; just think…this celebration in Revelation 7:11-12 is for and with all the people who have repented unto salvation in Jesus Christ.

This is the joyous celebration in heaven for all who have repented and professed Jesus their Savior.

As Christians, we are fueled by the joy of Christ Jesus living in our hearts. But when we go to heaven, we will be in the glory of God almighty as His glory radiates out from His throne and engulfs us continually. Oh, what a day that will be.

Dear LORD,

To bask in Your glory is our reward in heaven that will overtake our souls in joy unexplainable – a joy that far surpasses anything we could imagine. Thank You for loving us so much as to reward us for what Christ Jesus has done for us. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
