Revelation 4:1
In Revelation 4:1(NKJV) the Bible teaches us, “1After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” Jesus has given His criticisms and blessings on the seven churches, which all received different instructions for growing in their relationships with Jesus. Jesus has stated in Revelation 3:19, “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.”
This is a promise of the way to heaven being through Jesus.
Through Jesus Christ, the door is open to heaven – the invitation has been given. The door to heaven is open, and Jesus is knocking on the door to your heart; if you will open it, He will show you things which must take place in your life after this.
Dear LORD,
We have received the instructions that You have given to the seven churches. We know that we need to implement these things in our lives as well. Please help us to overcome and put You first in our lives through opening the door to our hearts and inviting Jesus to come in and dine with us and we with Him – that we may go through the door to heaven that Jesus has opened for us all – in Christ. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
