2 Thessalonians 3:13
The Apostle Paul makes a statement, an instruction in 2 Thessalonians 3:13 (NKJV) that is guidance for not just the Thessalonians but for all people everywhere and for always. He states, “13But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.”
This is a command to always do good through our Savior Christ Jesus who lives within all who will believe (John14:12-14).
There was a time, and still is, when people wore a bracelet with the letters WWJD; What Would Jesus Do? If we all lived our lives with this motto, we would all be caring for the poor, sick, demon possessed, prostitutes, and anyone else we found in need and who were being persecuted by others. The truth is that if we all lived by this motto, we would all be taking care of each other and the hatred of this world would be extinguished – not by us however, but by the Holy Spirit of God working within each of us to be a reflection of Jesus, the One who saved us all.
Dear LORD,
What Would Jesus Do? Please help us all to live our lives by asking this question to ourselves in all situations and then acting in proper accordance with the answer that You put in our hearts to walk in the footsteps of our Lord and Savior Jesus. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
